Online stores often ask us about the product exchange module. We often explain that product exchange is nothing but returning a product and making another purchase. Since sellers often have problems with understanding how to organize exchanging one product to another, we believe that consumers may have an even greater problem with that. That is why we added the ability to place a separate link explaining the exchange policy as an additional text over the first page of the return module.
In "MODERATION / Additional content on the pages generated automatically (CMS)" module, you can enter additional information about exchanging and returning items. This allows the customer, after entering the relevant link in the "My Order" section, to obtain additional information about the exchange and return procedure.
Depending on which link ("Replacement Information" or "Returns") your customer clicks on, information relevant for the given issue will be displayed above the list of possible returns:
You can use the text we propose, or you can modify it at any time in the IdoSell Shop administration panel and tailor it to your needs, for example, by explaining the customer that in order to make an exchange, they just need to return ordered products and include information about exchanging it to a specific product as a comment.
