We have developed a loyalty program with a number of useful options to better tailor it to the conditions of your online store and business environment. The most important change is the ability of delaying the calculation of points in the loyalty program by a specified number of days.

Decide when points should be calculated

We have introduced in a the ability to delay calculating point for a completed order by a certain number of days in a loyalty program.

This allows you to take into consideration the return date you offer to your customers, or the time it takes to receive payment for a cash on delivery. You will avoid many unpleasant situations that could expose your business to financial losses.

An example scenario where delay in calculating points will protect your store against losses:

Your customer ordered and paid for the item and then returned it. In the meantime - from the moment of receiving products by the customer until they make a return - points in the loyalty programhave been calculated for this customer. Then the customer used the received points (for the order they would return) to purchase other items.

Calculate points for your customers regardless of whether the payments match the order value

Additionally, loyalty program has gained the opportunity to change the condition that must be fulfilled in order for points to be calculated for a completed order.

Now you can set loyalty points to be calculated regardless of balance of payments . This is very important if you use a different warehouse management than IdoSell and not all order operations are performed in the IdoSell Shop administration panel (any type of external integration), or you would like to immediately reward your customers for purchases - without waiting for the payment for cash on delivery orders.

An example scenario in which you can calculate loyalty points:

If you are integrated through IAI Bridge with the accounting and warehousing program, it is not necessary to balance the payments in the order for the order to be completed if you enabled the I use the IAI Bridge (all stock operations will be blocked in the IdoSell.com) option.

In that case, if you have not allocated any order payments in the panel so far, you could not calculate loyalty points, or the operation was very difficult.

It is now possible - just enable the option "Calculate loyalty points in completed orders / regardless of the balance of payments".

We have introduced a new timetable for calculating loyalty points

Until now, your online store customer would receive two e-mails right away: the first with the order information and the second about the loyalty points.

Now the condition for calculating loyalty points is checked once per 24hrs. This means that your customer will most likely receive information about points later (up to 1 day later) than the one about the order fulfillment (unless you have delayed your loyalty points by more than 1 day).

This will remind the customer of the reward with a little delay, and you will be able to provide them with additional information that would make no sense if the customer's billing information was immediately received, as was the case so far.

We have simplified the pricing principle for wholesale orders

We also changed the condition for calculating loyalty points for wholesale orders. So far we have taken into account whether the customer was marked on the customer card in the panel as a wholesaler. Now for loyalty points to be calculated it is enough that the order is marked as wholesale one.

If you have set in a limit for the minimum value of wholesale orders in MODERATION / Shop Behaviour Management / Placing orders and you treat orders placed below the limit as retail - for such orders, loyalty points are rightly charged according to the retail loyalty points setting.

Existing stores can safely change settings

Delay and condition of calculating points in loyalty program may be changed at any time. Since the change, they will apply to all new orders and to previously placed orders that have not yet been credited. Thus, this is a safe option, no matter if are launching a Loyalty Program, or you just want to change its policy.
