We have rebuilt printer management for printing from the store panel, IAI POS and IAI Scanner. From now you can only configure printers in the IdoSell Shop Printer.

We have completely rethought the organization of printers for printing from the store panel and supporting applications such as IAI POS and IAI Scanner. We have centralized the management of fiscal printers and documents in the IdoSell Shop Printer application, which will automatically save all the configuration of all printers in the panel of your store. You won't have to configure printer settings anymore in the store panel or in the IAI POS and IAI Scanner applications, except for choosing which printer you want to use.

Until now, information on the configuration of fiscal printouts and documents were dispersed in several places in the IdoSell Shop panel and in the IdoSell Shop Printer application. To add a new printer or change the configuration of an existing one, you had to make this change in several places, partially duplicating the same data.

From now on the panel will no longer need to configure any printer settings. IAI POS and IAI Scanner applications, which also use printers, will download all settings from the store panel, and you will not have to configure any printer settings. The only thing that will remain is the choice of a printer for fiscal printouts or documents, and assigning them to users of the store panel.

Another simplification is removing the need to create a link between document printers and fiscal printers for printing fiscal receipts and VAT invoices on a fiscal printer with IAI POS and IAI Scanner. This means that from now on to print a fiscal receipt or FV on a fiscal printer with IAI POS you simply indicate the appropriate printer that will do it instead of where you had to indicate the document printer for which you defined the fiscal printer in the IdoSell Shop Printer.

Thanks to the reconstruction, there is no longer the need to manually set in the store panel and additional applications the connection data, which are not necessarily understood by you, such as listening ports, communication protocol or IP address. From now on, this information will be set only in the IdoSell Shop Printer, and applications and the panel will know how to connect to printers.

The new IdoSell Shop Printer 5.1 is backward compatible and allows you to work with available IAI POS (up to version 5.4.16.0) and IAI Scanner (up to version 1.8.18.0 ). Please note that subsequent IAI POS and IAI Scanner editions will now only work with IdoSell Shop Printer version 5.1 and higher. So please install IdoSell Shop Printer 5.1 today.
