Explore the "Security and filters" module, which will allow you to conveniently manage the security of your store
The new "Security and filters" module allows you to independently manage the security of your store in selected aspects. The module includes options that were previously dispersed in the panel, as well as new ones, previously available only for IdoSell Support, which had to be contacted earlier.
Module Protection and filters You can find it in the Administration / Security and filters section.
In three tabs we have included functionalities responsible for:
- Protection against DDOS attacks and price scanners - option moved from the section Administration / Management of domains and system services of the store.
- Block spam - option available so far only for IdoSell Support, allows you to manage the antispam filter
- Locks to IP addresses and countries - an option moved from the section Administration / Management of domains and system services of the store, enriched with a preview of options available only for IdoSell Support, so you will have an overview of advanced settings of your store
Block spam
With the option Block e-mails from forms by blocking unwanted IP addresses when the form is abused we have three options to choose from:
- no - we do not block unwanted IP addresses for any form
- yes - we block unwanted IP addresses for all forms
- selected - we block unwanted IP addresses for selected forms
Activated Anti-Spam mechanism is a learning mechanism that blocks unwanted IP addresses when a form is abused, i.e. it automatically blocks a given address only after several attempts to use one of the available forms. Therefore, you should remember that the activation of the blockade will not work immediately 100% blocking all unwanted e-mails.
