From January 1, 2019, we are withdrawing support for versions 2.4 and 2.5 of the IOF standard

Only until the end of the year it will be possible to make offers for integration in the IOF 2.4 and IOF 2.5 standards. From January 2019, these formats will no longer be available for selection either in the module for offering offers for integration or in the custom comparison sites.

It has been over 5 years since the release of IOF 2.4in October 2012, and IOF 2.5 in March 2013. The extensive experience in supporting online wholesalers and offer recipients, i. e. retail stores and reported needs related to the development of IOF (Internet Offer Format) format allowed us to share two versions of our standard IOF 2.6 and the latest recommended IOF 3.0.

Due to the falling popularity of IOF 2.4 and IOF 2.5 and the fact that there are more advanced versions available, we decided to terminate their support. From January 1, 2019, these formats will no longer be available for selection either in the module for offering offers for integration or in the custom comparison sites.

Clients sharing their offers, or using own comparison sites with plugged XSLT drivers in these formats, are invited to read the technical documentation of the IOF 3.0 standard recommended by us.

You can generate an IOF offer in the 3.0 version in the rebuilt Offer sharing module.

What happens if I do not change the withdrawn format in the configuration of shared offers?

If by the end of December 2018. you will not change the settings of offers made available to your clients (partners) in IOF 2.4 and IOF 2.5 format, from January 1, 2019, their configuration will be automatically switched to the IOF 3.0 format, and old links will stop working.
