Create separate accounts for all panel users

You can add new users in ADMINISTRATION/Panel users. It may be very crucial for your day-to-day reservation management. Why?

  • every month the system requests a change of password – with many people using the same account, any change of password may cause some troubles with accessing IdoBooking system. Remember that as an admin, you have the right to change passwords and logins. It comes in handy if one of the panel users forgets the password.
    • reservation history shows which user made specific changes – with separate user accounts, it may be simply easier to determine who made specific changes
    • each user can have a different scope of access privileges – you may want specify different set of rights for your employees, limiting the access to specific panel sections or assigning responsibilities to certain users.

E-mail notifications about bookings:

Each user can specify which e-mail notifications they want to receive. You can choose to receive:

  • notifications about each reservation
  • notifications about cancelled reservations
  • list of upcoming arrivals
  • list of upcoming departures

Additionally, you can specify if panel users should receive notifications about IdoBooking tickets. Remember that at least one user has to receive e-mail and ticket notifications.

IdoBooking system does not allow to automatically retrieve a password. If you forget a password, contact with us or ask one of the panel admins to set a temporary password for you.

User log book and blocked IPs:

In ADMINISTRATION/Panel users, you can also check the list of panel sign-ins and blocked IPs. If you can see a “support” user on your list, it means that a person from IdoBooking Support Team logged into your panel.
If somebody blocks an IP due to a multiple failed login attempts, our Support or one of the panel admins can unblock the host.
