New features in the housekeeping module

At the end of October, we released new housekeeping module. Based on the suggestions received from IdoSell users, we added the most anticipated improvements.

Dedicated housekeeping user

We added dedicated user role allowing accessing the housekeeping module. Thanks to this, you can create dedicated accounts for cleaning companies allowing them to access only to the cleaning module, without detailed information about reservations.

New sorting and filtering rooms to clean

We implemented sorting objects by location and time of departure. After the check-out time, the room is highlighted in the module, so that housekeepers can quickly check which rooms and apartments are ready to be cleaned.

A new switch has also appeared to facilitate the cleaning process management: Show only rooms to clean. With this option, rooms marked as cleaned disappear from the list. Rooms to clean appear at the top of the list.

Automatic communication

We automated the process of informing the cleaning crew about early check-outs. After changing the reservation status to Completed, the system updates the check-out time and forwards this information to the cleaning module. This way, the cleaner will immediately receive an updated schedule, containing early check-outs. This functionality will allow you to adjust your cleaning schedule and prioritize room by the check-in time.

A number of smaller changes

We added the number of people in the upcoming reservation on the list of rooms to clean, and introduced a number of small improvements that will increase the housekeeping UX.
